CHASSIS - EXTERIOR - CONSTRUCTION

Legend Trackline Hybrid off-road chassis is constructed with 150mm A-frame connects to an overengineered Legend design S&M Chassis. 

The whole caravan is taken care by Cruisemaster 2800kg DO35 hitch to the tow vehicle. Suspension is Cruisemaster’s most robust system in its XT unit, as this Model only comes in Single Axle for those who require more payload CruiseMaster now can be upgrade up to 3t ATM , and Stopping power comes from 12in Electric Brakes.  

We are committed to use all Brass fittings in our full range instead of PVC connectors this gives you a next level of protection without adding extra weight for protection.

This van also comes with Drop down Jacks on each corner, Jacking Points Large double slide Toolbox , Stone-Guard Protection and 1 Spare wheel Mounted on Rear Bar.

Our Legend caravans are built with an Aluminium frame construction which are put together with hanrob self-piercing riveting system,this allows for some movement over extreme conditions to avoid cracking. The frame components of the roof and walls are lock-bolted together as well as to the chassis to create a solid and enduring entity, Self-piercing rivets also eliminate heat problems associated with spot welding pure aluminum and aluminum alloys, which melt below 800 C. And, the fasteners are compatible with galvanized and coated surfaces, minimizing damage and eliminating re-coating or replating, unlike spot welding.

A lockbolt provides approximately 100% bearing area in the locking grooves. Using a nut and screw there is only 30% – 35% contact and the applications is vibration sensitive.

When it comes to the self-loosening effect under vibration load we are all aware of the Junker test, which monitors a bolted joint as it loses its preload when subjected to shear loading caused by transverse vibration. Compared to conventional bolts and nuts, lockbolts demonstrate superior vibration resistance.

Trackline Hybrid and all Legend Caravans are built with one Piece Honey-Comb light weight Floor Rot free, the roof is specially constructed with one piece fiberglass sandwich panels which is rot free , Exceptional Strength, Hail resistant also gives you premium insulation Thermal and Acoustic protection.

Exterior cladding is a composite panel of Aluminium sheets over an insulating polyethylene core. Voids in the walls are filled with AIR-CELL Insuliner — a closed cell fire-resistant core inside reflective foil to temper heat and cold, When insulation is installed we allow Airgaps between the wall and the insulation and this increases the R - rating on the caravan.

This means they can be integrated harmoniously into any furniture and will give you more usable space. Legend Caravans Drawer system leads the way in terms of technology. Fitted with the SPECIAL cabinet profile, boasts low opening forces, a synchronised feather-light glide and gives you the flexibility to implement three different motion technologies. The soft-close function adapts to the motion technology employed.

Electrical – Legend Trackline Hybrid 48v is equipped with Premium electrical system.

 EcoFlow system is a compact plug-and-play design for RV environments where simplified installation is essential. Dedicated power cables with different plugs and inputs for multiple applications make installation foolproof and fast. The kits come with 2kWh or 5kWh 48V batteries, a mix of 200W solar panels and control modules. The EcoFlow version on for this Trackline Hybrid 48V has the Base line, which includes one lithium iron phosphate 2kWh batterie for 2kWh of power and three 200W solar panels for an impressive total of 600W. An innovative power hub combines various charging applications and 2600W of pure sine wave 240V power. It can charge from solar, a generator, the vehicle alternator or a 240V input.

The US company started in 2017 and is new to Australia, but it claims 2.5 million global users across 100 countries. Owners can choose the level of solar charging, battery supply and inverter capacity they need from the various kits. The system is a compact plug-and-play design for RV environments where simplified installation is essential. Solar panels on this Model come in 200w per Solar panel and depending on the size and layout there can be number of solar panels installed on the roof, for example lets take the 16’ Caravan where we have fitted 4 x 200w Solar panels ( in some cases can be more or less but can always be customised to suit your needs )
